Environmental Career Student Guidance (ECSG) Programme 2026

To better prepare secondary school students to plan their careers and make informed subject choices for their university and tertiary studies, the Professional Green Building Council (PGBC) will organise a career-related experience and visits to Green Building Companies under the Environmental Career Student Guidance Programme (ESCG) annually from January to April. Through participating in the interactive Programme, students will meet representatives and visit green companies from professional institutes including HKIA, The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE), The Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects (HKILA), The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS), The Hong Kong Institute of Planners (HKIP), The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILTHK), Hong Kong Institute of Architectural Conservationists (HKICON), The Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management (HKIMF) and Hong Kong Institute of Urban Design (HKIUD). Students will gain a better understanding of career opportunities and

industry trends, preparing themselves for informed tertiary education decisions. The Professional Green Building Council is a nonprofit research and education institute that promotes a better, more sustainable built environment through its professional involvement.

為了讓中學生更有效地規劃自己的職業及準備大學選科，環保建築專業議會將舉辦環保專業學生導向計劃。參加者將透過互動學習平台，參加者可以與專業團體包括香港建築師學會、香港工程師學會、香港園境師學會、香港測量師學會、香港規劃師學會、香港運輸物流學會、香港建築文物保護師學會、香港設施管理學會及香港城市設計學會的代表會面，以更了解相關專業的職業機會和趨勢，為將來的高等教育決定作好準備。環保建築專業議會成立於2002年，是一個非牟利的研究及教育機構，致力於通過專業參與促進更佳的可持續建築環境。

We’re excited to share that we have successfully completed two curated guided tours under the PGBC Environmental Career Student Guidance Programme (ECSG) 2026 — at HKTDC Eco Expo Asia and the Education & Careers Expo.

These experiential visits offered students first-hand exposure to the dynamic world of green building, sustainability, and environmental innovation. At Eco Expo Asia, students explored the latest green technologies and solutions, while the Education & Careers Expo connected them with future academic and career pathways through direct engagement with environmental professionals and industry leaders.
