The HKIBIM Award is one of the most prestigious awards in Architecture, Engineering and Construction sectors. It aims to acknowledge and recognise the outstanding achievement of Organisations, Projects, Teams and Individuals who actively adopt and utilise Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology.


BIM has revolutionised the construction industry by allowing for more efficient and effective planning, design, construction, and maintenance of buildings and infrastructure. BIM professionals play a crucial role in this process, leveraging their specialised skills and expertise in BIM software and technologies to develope and manage digital models of construction projects.


This year’s theme, “BIM Beyond Boundaries”, celebrates how Building Information Modelling transcends boundaries to transform global construction. The theme highlights Hong Kong’s role as both Asia’s world city and a BIM innovation hub, where international talents converge with local expertise through initiatives.


By breaking down geographical and technical barriers, we foster cross-border collaboration and shared digital innovation across the Greater Bay Area, creating smarter, more connected built environments worldwide while positioning Hong Kong as the vital link between Mainland and international BIM practices.
