PGBC Zero Carbon Charter 2007
Higher Energy Efficiency (E2), Better Air Quality (AQ)
Zero Carbon Footprint

In human activities, we will create an impact on the environment. One way of measuring this impact is by counting the amount of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions which is often measured in units of carbon dioxide i.e. Carbon Units. GHG are culprit of global warming and climate change. The recent documentary "Inconvenient Truth" has provided a very convenient way for us to visualize the damage humankind has inflicted on earth.
As when we walk along the beach we leave our footprints, so too, when we live our lives, we leave carbon footprints. It is time to act with a view to minimizing our "footprint" on earth.
