Synopsis of each site:

SITE 1: Former Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital

As well as imposing an international image as an example of green building to other countries; in a smaller context the former hospital can also serve as a visual relief to the surrounding residents. As there is not any green space in the surrounding and it would be most appropriate to take this opportunity to re-use this abandoned building to become a “Green Oasis” to the local environment. The design concepts are as follows:

Green Design Concepts:

- Transformation of existing structure
- enhance urban environment.
- demonstrate a live experience to end users.
- flexible in use.

Transforming the former Hospital into an urban oasis as a green building resource centre.
