The Strategy for Green Buildings
Max Fordham
Professor Max Fordham was awarded the CIBSE Gold Medal in 1997
for his contribution to engineering, and in 2001 became CIBSE President.
Over the past 30 years, working with many design teams,
his practice has developed numerous award-winning buildings
that have reduced energy consumption and obviated air conditioning.
These buildings are designed to be sensitive to the natural environment
as well as to history and context.
