Inauguration Ceremony
The inauguration ceremony held on 10 June 2003 was attended by over 100 guests, including the PGBC advisors and opening ceremony sponsors, representatives from the professional institutes, government, academic bodies, green groups, and various stakeholders in the local building industry.

The officiating guest of honour was Mr Michael M Y Suen, Secretary for Housing, Planning & Lands, who is also the Honorary Advisor of PGBC.



A Joint Event: "Best Landscaped Slope Awards”
At this occasion, the first "Best Landscaped Slope Awards" Scheme was also launched. Civil Engineering Department HKSAR, HK Association of Property Management Companies, HKILA and PGBC jointly organize the Scheme. Submissions for the Award Scheme are called for, with deadline by 1 November 2003.

There are four Boards under the Council of PGBC to oversee their respective work, namely:

- Board of Education & Research
- Board of Internal Affairs
- Board of Public Affairs
- Board of Sustainability
